spacious but missing some essentials
The room was quite spacious, offering plenty of room to move around. The bathroom featured a nice bath, and there was an excellent basin for handwashing and prepping snacks.
However, some basic amenities were lacking.

We explored Knott's Aquarium of the Pacific, and it was stunning! My teenagers loved watching the playful sea otters and getting up close with colorful fish. The day turned into a memorable adventure for our whole family.
In my wife’s opinion, we were disappointed by the constant noise from the nearby guests. More insulation would improve the stay for families.

Target audience should think twice
The manager was polite and kept the area clean but the parking situation was ridiculous and the night was filled with loud noises outside my room
I mean it wasn't exactly inexpensive but I guess you get what you pay for

The location of Scottish Inns in Long Beach is fantastic, with plenty of dining options nearby. I enjoyed the easy check-in and check-out process. The room had a huge flat-screen TV and a coffee maker, which was nice. Water pressure in the shower was strong, making it refreshing. However, the room could have been much cleaner. There were some roaches crawling on the walls, which was a big turn-off. The bed made a loud noise whenever I moved, leading to a restless night due to outside noises and other guests. Additionally, the bathroom toilet didn't flush properly, which was inconvenient. I asked the cleaning staff for a remedy to the cleanliness issues but didn't get a positive response. Fixing the cleanliness and maintenance problems would greatly enhance the experience.

missingWrote a review on 24 Maycleanliness issue
Faced with a noisy bed that made every move a bit too audible, the overall comfort level diminished quickly. The floor cleanliness left a lot to be desired, as taking off my shoes meant watching my socks become dirty. Additionally, false advertising on not having a microwave in the room, unlike what the website promised, felt like a letdown. The sink drainage problems were annoying, and the presence of some items left behind by previous guests was quite off-putting.
